Chapter 12 -Significance of Education
Education has become much more valuable to society, as well as more available. It provides the foundation for success in many individuals. Nearly every job or career requires some type of education, whether it would be a high school diploma or a college degree in the particular field. The higher the education, the more likely it will be to obtain the desired career. Professions that require some sort of degree also tend to be more secure and have a higher pay rate. Education once was offered only to white men, leaving women and anyone not considered "white" without the opportunity to become more successful in life. I feel that because of this more people now are inclined to continue their schooling and get a higher degree. People used to follow in their parents footsteps without question. The more fortunate people - "the rich" were the ones who would be able to receive a higher education. Since so many people were less educated they would be considered a step behind in today's society. Therefore, every parent strives to give higher education to their children and sends them to prestigious schools no matter how expensive it is. Or maybe they even send them to other high developed countries to make them study there and earn higher degree of education. Of course it helps them gain a higher degree diploma, makes the person more intellectually stimulating, and develops the personal growth contribution to the social and economic development of society and ensuring to have a good career or future jobs. In my country a good knowledge of English and high education diploma are greatly valued. And the person who have graduated from foreign developed countries get higher position at organization or company and get paid at higher salary. For two years, I have been working in IT Solution Company as a Foreign Relation Manager translating all required documents/contracts and having contacts with our foreign suppliers. However, I have always feeling that my education and English is not sufficient for my position. Therefore, I came to USA to get higher education and to be able to meet all requirements for obtaining my desired career and feel confident about myself no matter how it is expensive to me and my family. I believe, my desired education in USA will greatly change my future and I will have great success in my life.

Chapter-17 Persuasive Writing
Don’t know anything about computers? Don’t think they are a big part of your life? Think again! Computers are incredible machines that improve our lives in many areas like education, entertainment, and work. The use of computers in and out of school has made improvements in the way we learn. College students having easy access to computers for various school related tasks’ like changing complete blocks of text on a term paper in a split second, using graphics to better express a particular point or idea, and being able to blog it on the web is one the main value of using computers in our ordinary lives. Furthermore, the use of computers in the home has extended the hours we can learn at a higher level without the environmental pressures of school or work thereby improving the way we learn. Another example of our expanding choices is that you can not only watch movies on DVD (Digital Video Disc) but re-edit them with your own sound tracks and special effects, listen to music on CD-Rom’s, even manufacture your own cartoons or even your own movies and write your own melodies and all of them on a computer. Moreover, the ability of the computer to link a person with others from far away places where conversations without inferences are sparked and ideas are exchanged internationally is a popular selection for millions everyday as a choice for entertainment. I also think the working environment where computers are used is becoming more and more diverse. As an example, my father the Courier of Japan Engines have computers in his truck hooked up to GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) systems that not only tell him where to go and how much time it will need to reach at one destination to another but also programmed to make sure my father or the courier’s at Japan Engine’s were punctual to be at time to the final destination or the client location. Another way diversity is becoming the norm is with the entry of wireless technology that has made it possible for mobile “laptop” computers to be linked up to a global network, not just for the mobile office, but for the person sitting on a beach on some south pacific island and still being able to attend a meeting in London England is diversity at the extreme. Computers are really fascinating and becoming more and more amazing everyday as they weave their way into our lives. Don’t think you know anything about computers? You really do, without knowing it maybe you have been using them for a long time. Don’t think they are a big part of your life? Without even realizing it computers have worked their way into just about every aspect of our everyday lives. From waking in the morning, to the food at the dinner table, to the movie afterwards, computers have influenced the way we live and will continue to do so on our future life.

My Treasured Trip
It was summer of 2004, when we all headed to the west north of Mongolia: “The Central Mongolia”. We never had any family trips throughout the Mongolian beautiful wide nature, as parents never had any free time from their busy carriers and beside of that they did not know yet the value of having special trip with their children.
From early morning dad and mom were tying all the baggage and suitcases preparing for the long trip and we kids were so excited that we had already prepared to head out.
Our first stop was the “Sand Dune” the very hot spot, which is the nearest desert like sand dune from the city, where we lived. That moment, I never imagined what was like the countryside and being in a wild nature. And on that time I was amazed by the environment of that desert as it had three conflicting scenery of the nature, the never ending expansive desert with cold and high mountain and between the huge sand dunes there was a lake which was surrounded by trees and a few green plants. We all were lying on sands which were heating our bodies from the beneath and we were playing around with the sand as it was silken soft with crystal and golden yellow color.
After spending first night on that unique sand dune, early in the morning we headed to “The Red Waterfall”, which is located to the central area of Mongolia the “Uvur-khangai”. I remember we had toughest road with up and down bumps and lumps jumping on our old rattling Toyota RAV-4. Nevertheless, father was extremely happy to go to that place, as his father and my grandpa was the native of Uvur-Khangai province. When we finally reached to our destination we were hearing the sound of water which was falling from impressive height of twenty meter. The waterfall was powerful and strong with large rock and stones, and when we were standing on the mountain of that waterfall watching down the waterfall cascading and pouring its fast moving water to the river of Orkhon, we have been crying out about the beauty of that creature. There were many travelers from around the world and having pictures on that beautiful waterfall and asking from each others to take their pictures and finally we also asked from one tall European man to take our picture. That person was happy to take our picture as he was one of the amazed travelers and he was saying you are lucky to be the natives of that country. That moment was my first time when I first felt pride of being Mongolian.
After the waterfall we have been tired and we were very hungry that we did not want to prepare the foods and wait until it will be ready to be served, we just went to the nearest Mongolian family to full our shouting stomachs. As the Mongolian people in the countryside are very hospitable and friendly, we had not any hesitation to visit and spend our night. Our house owners or the “ger” were very friendly people who offered us foods and they wished us to feel as we were at our home. The ger head or the father of that family had warm conversation with my parents offering them our traditional beverage or “the airag”. Our traditional beverage “airag” is made by horse milk and it has acid taste which can make one drunken if you will have it too much. As father was the most impressed person on that “ger”, he did drink the “airag” a lot and he was telling his entire life story to the owner of the ger”. After the long trip and hospitability we had wonderful nap on that warm and smelling ger. All Mongolian ger has one unique smell, which is mixture of milk, meat and “argal” smell. The argal is dried excrement of livestock, which we use to heat the ger.
Next morning, I was awaken by my brother, who was twelve years old, who wanted to go out with me and see the cattle. He was holding my arm tightly and running to one young goat, which was desperately sucking the breast of its mother goat. Brother was pointing to young goat and told me that he like the young goat more than any other kids of livestock. On that moment, I really understood the meaning of Mongolian ancient phrase: the most attracting kid of our five types of herd is young goat. Instantly, mom was calling for us, as all other members of our family were ready to head back to our home.
My parents left us four months after that unforgettable trip, leaving us with grandmother with a hope to make their lives one level upper in a foreign country the “United States of America.” Since that time, we really missed that moments and we never had warm family environment in our home and country. We wanted to go back to the moment, the moment, when where we are singing our songs in our old rattling Toyota RAV-4 and heading to the beautiful countryside of our Mongolia.
And now after whole five years coming to United States to my parents, I’m feeling the warmth of my family and my parents never changing love, which I have been missed for a long time and I do believe one day morning we will head again to our memorable family trip and will treasure that moment even more than we do now.

Where Do You Stand With Regard To Writing?
The feet - the fundamental area of writing is to present the main topic of writing to your readers for further discussion. Therefore, you need to state the topic of your writing very clearly and properly in order to continue and convey your thoughts accurately to the readers.
However, after stating your topic correctly, you will find the worst and upsetting point of writing - the stomach. As, you will consider which way of conveying your thoughts will greatly match your reader’s or your instructor’s opinion and you will have a question how you can earn your best value of your writing. However, in my opinion, my own uniqueness is my best value.
Writing your own thoughts on the paper is a great deal to everybody, but still you find that you will love to write. As by writing about anything, you will develop your little thought and brain and you will love to share it with others. The great thing of writing is you are giving your unique and developed idea to others by giving them an article to consider about it whether your stated words are correct or not.
By writing you will have a miracle, as you can touch your thoughts and feel it. You are expressing your thoughts by writing and by writing it you are feeling your thought.
By writing and developing your idea you are hearing some good phrases and words, which you have heard from others or which you have stated earlier. You will remind all that phrases to develop your writings and all that you will hear your own well developed idea.
As you perfect or build up your idea before stating it on the paper, I see all powerful and ancient wisdom have been left to us by writing. Therefore, even you can leave your unique idea for future readers.
In the end, writing is the most thoughtful and perfect words, which you are trying to say and in order to do it, you are using your most precious organ, which is the brain.
